Hey Jenene, I was so excited to read that you are blogging. I am not quite the write that you are, but I have found it has been a great expression of creativity and a quick escape.
I am sorry to hear that you are in between careers at the moment. I myself am in a transitional phase, student teaching, while finishing up my masters program. Your mom has given me such a spirit of peace and hope.
I think often about the impact that you all had on my life. I am fairly certain I first felt like a princess when I was in your wedding. I remember how much I liked your hat. I also think your wedding made me realize how much I liked dancing (especially with cute, older men! LOL)
The first time I fell in love with school, I was visiting your mom's classroom. I remember the walls were green, she had tons of plants, and a seemingly endless supply of books.
Your mom is my God mother, and my faith is one of the closest things to my heart. You are the family I hope to emulate while raising 2 girls of my own.
It's funny how in your times of reflection, in season's of uncertainty, you find that small things from a time long, long ago, show you that the path God has set forth, is still one you are on. I pray for your protection and courage during this time. I ask God to bless you abundantly, provide your soul with rest, and that the Holy Spirit will speak gently into your life, keeping you on the path that He has set forth.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
